Shortbread
Ingredients:
180g plain flour
60g self raising flour
90g sugar
150g unsalted butter
Method:
Sift flours into a bowl.
Mix in the sugar.
Rub in butter and knead lightly until smooth.
Roll mixture out to 5mm thickness on lightly floured board; cut into 5cm rounds with cutter.
Place on ungreased trays, bake in moderate oven 25-30 minutes or until pale golden brown.
